½cupmini peanut butter cup candy(like Reese's cups)
¼cupmini chocolate chips
Instructions
Make the base. Beat cream cheese, peanut butter, and sugar with a mixer for 1 to 2 minutes, until smooth and light.
8 ounces cream cheese, 1 cup creamy peanut butter, ½ cup granulated sugar
Add the cream. Mix in the heavy cream and vanilla on low, scraping the bowl until the mixture is incorporated. Gradually increase the speed to medium-high and beat for 45 to 60 seconds, until fluffy and stiff peaks form.
2 cups heavy cream, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Fold in the extras. Gently fold in the cookies, peanut butter cups, and chocolate chips with a spatula. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
1 cup peanut butter sandwich cookies, chopped, ½ cup mini peanut butter cup candy, ¼ cup mini chocolate chips
Serve with dippers. Spread the mixture into a decorative bowl and place on a platter surrounded by your favorite dippers such as apple slices and cookies. Garnish the top of the dip if desired with more candy and cookies.
Notes
Soften the cream cheese. Room temperature cream cheese blends much more smoothly.
Don’t overbeat the whipped cream. Stop as soon as stiff peaks form.
Keep the cookie pieces chunky. Bigger pieces give you that good little crunch.
Chill before serving. The spread firms up and the flavors come together after an hour in the refrigerator.
