Ingredients

Dip

1 jar marshmallow creme (7.5 ounces)
1 carton cool whip (8 ounces)
3 packets hot chocolate mix (I use Swiss Miss)

Garnishes and Dippers

½ cup chocolate chips (optional garnish)
1 cup mini marshmallows (optional garnish)
1 package graham crackers (optional dipper)

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the marshmallow creme and whipped topping.
1 jar marshmallow creme, 1 carton cool whip
Beat with a hand mixer or a food processor until smooth and creamy.
Add in the hot cocoa mix packets
3 packets hot chocolate mix
Beat in cocoa packets until fully incorporated and silky smooth.
Spoon the dip into a decorative bowl.
1/2 cup chocolate chips, 1 cup mini marshmallows, 1 package graham crackers
Garnish with mini marshmallows and a sprinkle of chocolate chips if desired. Serve with dippers like graham crackers or pretzels.

Notes

Make It Ahead: whip it together and store in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours before serving.
Leftovers: store any leftover Hot Cocoa Dip in an airtight container in the fridge. It will stay delicious for up to 3 days.
Freezing: you can actually freeze this dip in small containers and eat it like ice cream! That's an extra reason to make it right now!
