Thaw the spinach and squeeze out all of the water. Add spinach to a colander. Using a cheesecloth or paper towel, press down on the spinach until no water remains. Set aside and allow to drain onto a plate while still in the colander.
10 ounces frozen spinach, chopped
Add the sour cream, mayonnaise and Knorr® seasoning in a large mixing bowl. Whisk until blended.
Stir in the drained spinach and green onions until everything is mixed well. Refrigerate at least 1 hour, or over night.
3 green onions
Give the dip a stir before adding to a serving dish or bread bowl. Serve with carrot sticks, more veggies and bread.
Notes
Use thawed (and squeezed) frozen chopped spinach for the best results. You can use fresh spinach if it's sautéed, but I find it can appear stringy and be harder to eat, especially during a party.
Make sure you completely squeeze out all of the water from the spinach before adding to the other ingredients. If you skip this step, your dip won't turn out the way you intended.
Don't forget to refrigerate your spinach dip before serving. I like to make mine ahead and keep in the fridge overnight. It needs a good stir before placing it in a bread bowl or decorative dish.
