Ingredients

cream cheese
softened

sweetened condensed milk
use less if you don't like it sweet

lemon juice
Zest of ½ lemon

like Cool Whip

fresh strawberries
hulled and diced

graham crackers, vanilla wafers, shortbread cookies, animal crackers, fruit slices, pretzels
Instructions
In a medium mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.

Add the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, lemon juice and lemon zest to the cream cheese, beating until well combined and smooth.

Gently fold in the whipped topping until just combined.

Fold in the diced strawberries until evenly distributed.
1 cup fresh strawberries
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to blend and the dip to thicken slightly.
Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and top with strawberry jam. Serve with your favorite dippers.

Notes
Recipe yields 3 cups of dip which is plenty for 16 people to enjoy.
Store dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Freezing is not recommended as it will alter the texture of the dip, making it less smooth and creamy.
Add any additional garnishes, such as chocolate drizzle or extra strawberries, just before serving to make sure they remain fresh.
